Birmendreïs si trova a sud dell'agglomerazione urbana di mwnwAlgeri. Il suo mwoaCodice statistico ONS è 1609.

Storia

La città porta il nome del mwowraʾīs mwpaMourad cite-ref-3[3], che secondo diverse versioni potrebbe essere un mwqqolandese di nome Jan Jansz, vissuto nel mwqgXVI secolo; oppure un mwqwalbanese di religione mwracristiana, Simon Dansa, vissuto nel mwrqXVII secolo. Entrambi furono comunque mwrgpirati, convertiti all'mwrwIslam.
